"I use nature as a source of inspiration and point of departure. Rather than pure representation, my work suggests an experience of nature triggered by seasonal change. Imagery shifts from physical representation to abstraction., beyond the physical to pure pattern and color. I toy with the dynamics of color, flat planes of color offset against highly worked, textured, detailed areas of imagery. I am interested in the intervention of mechanical, man made shapes in the landscape".

DALLAS, Aug. 20, 2008 (Reuters) тА" More than 200,000 children were hit as punishment in U.S. schools last year and in the South more blacks than whites are struck, two human rights groups said in a report released on Wednesday.
