I am a painter: Egg tempera pastel(oil and Dry),casein ,acrylic ,pretty much all media. I am just returning full time after raising my children.(they are my inspiration ) I love to poke around the web - finding and posting things(mostly art) I very much appreciate art with a political theme . Maybe I will post my art - who knows. If you like some of the things I find,good....enjoy. I am curious about everything . ..pretty much.:)

"Walking by the stock exchange"

I wrote this poem about walking by the stock exchange on Wallstreet and Broad St. every day. I wrote it in my head. Lindsey Jones
I walk by America every day
She is picket fenced and flagged
with men and machines guarding her facade
cold, iron,and steel pressed to their chests.
they aren't allowed to pose for photographs,
but if you lean real close they will let you know
"I'll just hover in the distance, by accident in the frame"
Sometimes they wink while practicing this art of chance
at Russian and Japanese girls who
stare straight up at America while she is barricaded
and the whole time the sewer spills gaseous material
from steam holes and
these unknown pressure points
like some post-apocalyptic scene
where a soon to be Harrison Ford is a parked car somewhere off wall street.
